Caserma Moncada
Assaulted by a group of rebels led by Fidel Castro on July 26, 1953.
The assault failed, but was later celebrated as the event that started the Cuban revolution.
The date of the attack was adopted as the name of the movement that took power in 1959, the "26 July Movement" (Movimiento 26 Julio or M26-7)
The black marks on the wall are machinegun bullet holes.
