Petra town - With our suitcases still in hand, just arrived into town, we met a touristic policeman and we prepared our best Arabic speech to ask for some information.
The meanings was supossed to be "I am looking for a room with hot water".
The policeman stares at us quite perplexed and replied "Are you trying to speak arabic?".
Moral general laugh of us all, but this simple moment of laughing had opened our interlocutor's heart whom had been then very helpful in guideing us to a cheap and comfortable hotel near the entrance of the archeological site of Petra.
