Antananarivo
The capital, called Tana by the Malagasy, is not a capital that makes you feel at ease.
It is a city incredibly clogged with battered vehicles, smelling of exhaust fumes, downright dirty and dangerous.
There isn't much to see, and when I was there the few museums were all closed.
It is a city from which you want to leave as soon as possible.
